I've been very slow on checking other people's gallery I agree this wouldn't work as well in BW- you can sense the texture much better in colour. Personally, I would've darkened the level a bit as it would create a different atmosphere and enhance the green in the photo. I do find the resolution too big- I'm running 1600x1200 and barely got the whole image on my monitor. This would've been perfect image for last week's Photo Friday Challenge: Abandoned (do a search on Photo Friday-).
this is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (yes, all of those exclamation marks really are needed )
i wish i could have been there with you, it seems like an amazing place to take photos!
did you send jaysin an edited version on this photo?
no black and white here
i mean i love black and white but not for this type of stuff
you notice how the green is very bright? that because i used a polarizing filter to highlight the colours and a green filter on top. and i LOVE this shot the way it turned out. maybe lacks a frame and a good name
suggestions on the name? i cant think of anything. so bad with names...
Holy poo this picture is awesome. My only complaint would be that the upper portions of the windows are really losing a lot of detail because of the super-bright highlights up there, if you could burn them in a bit, you could preserve the impression of the strength of the light outside but make those highlights a little less distracting.
The colors are great, and the composition too. So yeah, aside from a few little nit-picky things, a really great photo.
